If you look down at the Nazca Lines from a plane, you can see many remarkable animal geoglyphs. Some of the most famous designs include a giant monkey with a spiral tail, a hummingbird in flight, and a long-legged spider. There is even a strange human-like figure called the astronaut, which appears to be waving to the sky. These large drawings might have been created for the gods to see from above, serving as a way for the people to communicate with the heavens without using words.
