People have always enjoyed capturing special moments with pictures. One exciting way to do this is by stepping inside a photo booth. The earliest photographic machine was presented at the World’s Fair in 1889 by a French inventor, and photo booths quickly caught the public’s attention. Several decades later, in 1925, the modern concept of photo booths with a curtain was introduced to New York City by Anatol Josepho. For a small fee, people could receive eight developed black-and-white photo strips in about 10 minutes, which seemed almost like magic at the time.
