翻譯練習
1. 尊重他人的感受是建立良好關係的關鍵。
可譯為：Showing respect for other people’s feelings is the key to building good relationships.
譯題密技：
the key to + N/V-ing ……的關鍵∕祕訣
the key to... 表「……的關鍵或祕訣」，此處的 to 為介詞，表「針對……」，因此後面只能接名詞或是動名詞。
字詞加油站：
a. show respect for... 對……表示尊重
b. relationship n.（人際）關係
2. 只有當人們願意理解彼此時，許多衝突才能被避免。
可譯為：Only when people are willing to understand one another can many conflicts be avoided.
譯題密技：
Only when + S + V + 倒裝句 只有在……時，才……
only 之後接 when 引導的副詞子句置於句首時，視為否定副詞子句，因此其後的主要子句須採倒裝句構。
