Alex Honnold, one of the most remarkable free solo climbers, is known for his calm mind and extreme courage. As a child, he was not especially strong, but his love for climbing and constant practice gradually set him apart. Although he once studied civil engineering in college, he later dropped out and devoted himself fully to climbing. Over time, he became best known for his free solo climbs of huge rock walls. Free solo climbing is one of the most dangerous sports in the world. It involves climbing without ropes or safety equipment.
