While the blue dragon certainly has a striking appearance, this is not its most unique characteristic. Its unusual feeding behavior is even more extraordinary. The blue dragon feeds on highly venomous sea animals, such as the Portuguese man o’ war. These floating creatures drift near the ocean’s surface, making them easy targets for the blue dragon. Although most animals avoid Portuguese men o’ war for fear of getting stung, they are the primary food source of the blue dragon.
