In recent years, more and more wild animals have begun to adjust to city life and are now settling down in urban areas. One such animal is the masked palm civet. These mammals have short gray fur, dark markings on their face, and a clear white stripe that stretches from their nose up to their ears and around their eyes. Their round ears and long gray tail give them a look that falls somewhere between a cat and a raccoon, although they are actually more closely related to a mongoose.
