G: George K: Kelly
Kelly continues introducing more taboos during Ghost Month.
G: Earlier, you mentioned that people don’t stay out late during Ghost Month. Are there other taboos?
K: There are many. Another one is that people don’t whistle at night.
G: Why not?
K: It’s said that the sound might attract wandering ghosts.
G: Interesting. Is there anything else?
K: Let me think. People also avoid swimming. It’s believed that water spirits might try to find a replacement and pull someone under.
G: That’s really creepy.
