　　This year marks the 11th anniversary of the Maldives’ introduction of the Ran Dhihafaheh note series. The name of the series means “Golden Fifty,” which was created to celebrate 50 years of independence from the UK. Maldivians were excited about the release of the Ran Dhihafaheh note series as the country had gone more than three decades without a new note series. Beyond the beautiful artwork, the bills are special because they are printed on polymer.

　　今年是馬爾地夫推行 Ran Dhihafaheh 紙鈔系列的十一週年。該系列的名稱意為「金色五十」，它被創造來慶祝馬爾地夫脫離英國獨立五十週年。馬爾地夫人對 Ran Dhihafaheh 紙鈔系列的發行感到無比興奮，因為該國已經三十多年沒有發行新的紙鈔系列了。除了精美的圖案外，這些鈔票的特殊之處在於它們採用聚合物材質印製。
