If you attend the Regata Storica, prepare yourself for a day that is filled with excitement and drama. Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted by the bright colors of the boats which line the canals. The air will be filled with the sounds of cheering crowds and the splashing of oars in the water. The event starts with a parade of beautiful boats. They are designed to look similar to those of the 16th century.
