P: Paul M: Megan
Paul and Megan are discussing their plans for the near future.
P: Hey, Megan. What have you been up to? Any plans?
M: Hi, Paul. Well, I’ve been busy applying for internships recently, and I was lucky enough to get one. I’ll be working as a journalist for a local newspaper.
P: That’s awesome. You’ve always been interested in writing, so this will be a great experience for you.
M: Thanks. I’m actually more interested in becoming an author. I’ve been trying to write a novel, and I even submitted my work to a publisher.
P: Wow, that’s amazing! I didn’t know you were doing that.
M: I’m really nervous, but also excited to see what happens. Anyway, what about you?
