Learning is easiest when it’s fun, and Playground Ruoholahti aims to make computing concepts playful for children from preschool to sixth grade. But it’s not only for kids. The playground and surrounding park were designed for people of all ages, so even adults can enjoy trying out some of the specially designed equipment. The playground’s key feature is a two-part tower that represents a computer processor. The four main elements of computing—input, processing, output, and memory—are brought to life through the tower’s climbing and sliding activities.
