Some of the best snacks in history have been invented by accident. The popular Japanese soft drink, Calpis, is one of those beautiful accidents. The story starts with Kaiun Mishima, a Japanese man who traveled to Inner Mongolia in the early 1900s. The trip was hard on his digestive system. It was only after drinking a type of traditional cultured milk that he felt better. His body and mind felt healed by the drink. When he returned to Japan, Mishima started trying to develop a product similar to the one he had drunk in Mongolia.
歷史上一些最好的零食是偶然發明的。日本流行的軟性飲料可爾必思就是這些美麗的意外之一。故事從 1900 年代初期到內蒙古旅行的日本男子三島海雲開始。這趟旅行對他的消化系統而言很吃力。直到喝了一種傳統的發酵奶後，他才感覺好一些。他的身心都因這杯飲料而治癒。返回日本後，三島開始嘗試開發一種類似他在內蒙古喝過的產品。
