Almost everyone loves to listen to music while driving down long stretches of roads. But what if the road itself provided the tunes? Thanks to the world’s musical roads, drivers can now enjoy music while taking road trips, even without the radio on. How does a musical road actually work? It has to do with the vibrations created when a vehicle’s tires pass over grooves that are cut into the surface of the road. The closer together the grooves are, the higher the pitch.
