Many unusual sporting events are held around the world each year. In Spain, people compete to build the tallest tower of humans, while in England, competitors chase a rolling wheel of cheese down a hill. Among all the unique competitions, the Wife-Carrying World Championship is one of the most interesting and challenging. As the name suggests, this event features men racing through an obstacle course while carrying their wives. The course is about 250 meters long and includes two dry obstacles and a wet one, testing both balance and endurance.
