Clouds come in a variety of shapes and sizes and can be divided into different types. By correctly identifying them, you can even tell the weather. Generally, there are three main types of clouds: cirrus, stratus, and cumulus. Cirrus is a common type of cloud that forms above 4,000 meters. These clouds have thin bodies and look like feathers. When you see cirrus clouds, a change in weather might be on the way.
