Commercial flights have been available for more than 100 years. Air travel has become more and more common as time goes on. It' s not unusual for a CEO to fly to another country for a meeting or for a family to travel to another country for a short holiday. However, air travel has a huge environmental impact. Many people who are concerned about climate change have made the choice to reduce or stop their flying altogether. Instead, they are switching to taking trains.
